Aluminium alloy 5454 has very good corrosion resistance, in particular to seawater and general environmental conditions.

Alloy 5454 is widely used in the manufacture of chemical storage tanks, automotive wheels and in particular those applications that may be subject to temperatures in excess of 65ºC.

  • It is not suitable for complex or fine extrusions.
  • Good formability in softer tempers
  • Good weldability
