AMPLUS+ Ti64Gd23 metal powders have been specifically designed and optimised for use in Additive Manufacturing (AM)

AMPLUS+ Ti64Gd23 metal powders are widely used and successfully proven in AM. AMPLUS+ Ti64Gd23 is a titanium alloy with a chemistry comprising mainly of Titanium with 6% Aluminium and 4% Vanadium (Ti-6Al-4V).

Ti64Gd23 often referred to as ELI (extra low interstitials) has increased ductility and slightly reduced strength when compared to Ti64Gd5 (also provided by Righton Blackburns Powder Metals).

AMPLUS+ Ti64Gd23 is processable across a wide range of AM machines, provided a suitable shielding gas (argon) is used. AMPLUS+ Ti64Gd23 delivers excellent mechanical properties particularly excelling in wear, fatigue, and corrosion resistance, whilst maintaining a superb high strength to weight ratio.

Our Titanium alloy powder is available to purchase in 5kg security sealed containers or alternatively in 50kg drums.

Heat Treatment
