AMPLUS+ M300 metal powders have been specifically designed and optimised for use in Additive Manufacturing (AM).
AMPLUS+ M300 metal powders are widely used and successfully proven in AM.
Thanks to their low carbon properties when compared to M2 or other high carbon content tool steels, AMPLUS+ M300 processes well across the broad spectrum of AM machines and technologies.
AMPLUS+ M300 is maraging steel, which is a martensitic tool steel that is strengthened by thermal ageing. Often used for tooling, moulds, and high strength components, after heat treatment AMPLUS+ M300 delivers excellent mechanical properties particularly excelling in tensile strength and hardness.
Our Maraging Steel alloy powder is available to purchase in 10kg security sealed containers or alternatively in 50kg drums.

A typical heat treatment cycle at 500°C for 6-10 hours is required to achieve maximum hardness. Note: part size will impact the aging time required. Further information on heat treatment and stress relieving can be provided by our technical experts by contacting: sales@rbpowdermetals.co.uk
